psst! try exploring the brain... and it's parts :)

Hey!
I’m Grace, and I love building the bridge between mind and machine. How can we make the computer feel like an extension of the brain? Magical BCIs need extraordinary engineering and ingenious design—and I love working on all of it.

Here's what I'm up to now:
- ML Researcher at Harvard Vision Computing Group working on a super-resolution representation of connectomics.
- Building Accio, voice-first computer control for quadriplegics.
- Exploring startups as a Roberts Family Fellow and Pear Venture Fellow.
- Completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at Harvard.

In the past, I have:
- Worked on Photos, Memory Creation, and Apple Intelligence at Apple, selected to demo live to Craig Federighi (CTO of Apple).
- Been a student-athlete on Harvard Varsity Sailing.
- Research with Harvard Medical School investigating neurocognitive functions and MRI-based brain structural factors.
- Co-Directed Harvard Tech for Social Good.
Some more fun things I've built:
- A Beli for books / better Goodreads.
- Explainer video about Neural Stem Cells.
- A product design iteration proposal for Devin AI.
- Golden Press, a cozy, local journaling/note-taking app for MacOS.
Inspiration

Books.
I could ramble endlessly about my favorite novels, which is why I made these youtube videos about the best books of 2024, the best nonfiction books of 2022, and the best fiction books of 2022. I don’t know what happened in 2023.
I also wanted to add my (ever-growing) list of 5-star recommendations. I hope you’ll find something here that you like — if you do, please reach out and let me know!
